About Mukisa Global Inc.
Crossing Lake Victoria to reach Bussi Island — where the mission began.
In January 2020, a team from CCPhilly traveled to Uganda on a mission outreach. After landing in Entebbe, they made their way to Lake Victoria — the largest lake in Africa — and boarded boats to reach the islands.

On Bussi Island the community welcomed Nose Poliard with a new name: Mukisa, meaning Blessing. The name stuck — and so did the calling. The team conducted a needs assessment and what they found was striking: fertile land sitting empty, families ready to work, no healthcare clinic, and no solid school.
From that assessment the goat farm was founded — the first business of Golden Herd Mukisa. Local employees were hired and given free housing on the farm. A model began to emerge: not charity, but sustainable enterprise designed to lift an entire community.

On August 6, 2021, Mukisa Global Inc. was formally incorporated in Pennsylvania, USA. In 2022, Golden Herd Mukisa LTD was officially registered in Uganda. Today, a multi-continental team continues to build the model — sector by sector, business by business, life by life.
